GlobalLogic is looking for RubyOnRails Developer to join our team in Lviv office.
Short project description:
Qype is the largest local reviews site in Germany and favorite place to find the coolest bars, clubs, art galleries, parks and places to go in your local area.
Core Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the development of new, innovative, high-performance features on Qype, whilst dealing with the ongoing challenge of a site growing at breakneck pace.
You will have some experience of developing a high traffic website or similar large scale environment with open source technologies, and what is more, you will have a relentless focus on usability and community, and a good grasp of scalable, secure architectures.
Successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
-Experience with Ruby on Rails
-Experience with Linux, Apache2/Tomcat/Lucene, MySQL 5, postfix
-Good technical English
-Good time management skills
Desirable: enthusiasm for Web 2.0 sites, online communities including Qype!
Desired personal traits: self-motivated and analytical thinker, hard-working and flexible attitude to work, infectious enthusiasm - sees solutions rather than obstacles
